In recent years, and more particularly since the arrival of QSI, Paris Saint-Germain has been very active on the transfer market in order to build the biggest team possible to rise to the level of the top European clubs.

Since the creation of the club in 1970, PSG has marked the spirits on several occasions by achieving resounding blows during the various transfer windows. In the summer of 2013, the Parisian board made the biggest investment during this period since the club was born. The playmaker arrives in the capital with the label of the most expensive player in the history of PSG and the French championship. Some will wonder why his arrival is not among the top 3 of the most resounding transfers in the history of PSG. But it is true that he could have been there. Loaned with a compulsory purchase option estimated at €180m by AS Monaco, his transfer has long been the talk of the various players in football.
